Aticco Urquinaona

Located at the cross-point between two of the most vibrant barrios of the city – Born and Eixample – Aticco Urquinaona is ideal for all types of digital nomads, especially those looking for collaborators. With a weekly program of events that include seminars, afterworks, masterclasses and networking events, you’ll easily find like minded freelancers.

More than a coworking space, Apocapoc BCN – part of the Nest City Lab project – is a collaborative community. With a focus on sustainability and the principles of permaculture, it was created within an old industrial workspace in the Poblenou neighborhood. Dedicated to startups and small businesses and entrepreneurial artisans, Apocapoc (meaning ‘little by little’) was made from recycled and recyclable materials to create a unique space that’s a blend of natural and urban environments.

Aside from standard modern coworking facilities, there are yoga and meditation spaces. Events include ‘Writing time’, a freeform session where members share stories, poems, thoughts, and ideas. For those looking for a community of creative, eco-conscious digital nomads, this unique community is hard to beat.

MOB Barcelona

Makers of Barcelona, or MOB for short, is an excellent, coworking space near the Arc de Triomf and Parc Ciutadella, the main city park in Barcelona. A large light-filled space with modern facilities, purpose-built video conference booths and lightning-speed internet, it’s ideal for anyone from writers and web designers to graphic designers or even whole teams. Members have access to a pool of talent, job offers, events, meetups, and anything else going on through the community network.

Events include morning hatha yoga sessions every Tuesday.

The friendly community management team adds a personal touch, which keeps it in league with the other self-starter coworking spaces on this list.
